Tuesday Talk is a gathering of devotees of Sri Ramakant Maharaj discussing their living experiences following the instructions as given by Sri Ramakant Maharaj and began March 28, 2017. A disciple of Sadguru Shri Ramakant Maharaj of the Inchegiri Navnath Sampradaya John Richards received Naam Mantra initiation on August 6, 2015 at Nashik Ashram.

Dear John I am extremely happy with your total involvement and sharing spiritual knowledge amongst all spiritual seekers in the world and that to without any expectations. Really you are doing a great spiritual sacrifice which is beyond ones imagination. I strongly feel my Sadguru Shri Nisargadatta Maharaj inspired you to do all these spiritual duties on my behalf. I am quite sure blessings of all lineage Sadgurus always with you and all devotees. With blessings to all Jai Sadguru.

At the end of Ramakant Maharaj's 2016 USA visit Maharaj gave the instruction "When I return to India, guide them." Gurudakshina refers to the tradition of repaying one's teacher or guru after a period of study or the completion of formal education, or an acknowledgment to a spiritual guide. The tradition is one of acknowledgment, respect, and thanks. It is a form of reciprocity and exchange between student and teacher. The repayment is not exclusively monetary and may be a special task the teacher wants the student to accomplish.

There is the term “I Am” (Soham). “I Am” is continuously being repeated day and night. Without speaking a word, it is a constant awareness. The word “japa” in Sanskrit has one meaning as “repetition,” but it has another meaning in Marathi, which is “to take care of,” or to protect, or nurture. This is all automatic. In all the bodies of all creatures the repetition of the soundless sound “Soham,” and “Hamsa,” is continuous with the breathing. By understanding this a man is free of all bondage. In all creatures, the awareness of “I Am” is constant.
